Quite an observation about the sacrifice of confidence in relationships. A dinner table balances out two couples, each side displays one of confidence and one of dependence. One of foresight, one captured within the turmoil of now. When one person leaves, whom shifts to the other side of the table to tip the scales? Only with the recognition of self-arrogance is one able to trace back towards humility. Insightful!

I remember I was the usher during this film's run and because of how that works, I saw nothing but the ending of this over and over and over again.

Masterwork, presenting an art naturalistic. The skript was enjoyable, meaningfull. I love Birgit, one of the romantic movie i've ever seen

I liked the images, but I didn't really understand what the male character has going for him.

Nothing but a painfully intelligent and ambiguously distant masterpiece of character drama.

'Related' to Before Sunrise and Before Sunset as in completely different?

Spent most of the two hours last night fighting with this thing. Realized today that, of course, that's the idea. Replay value = zero, but this one will be floating around in my head for a while, I'm sure. Great to see something of note coming out of Germany.

Cruel but not completely nihilistic. Hints of Houellebecq here and there. Male insecurity, the impossibility of human relationships, dependency and despondency. Overall, brilliant.

Como film sobre las relaciones está bien, interesante, pero para contarlo creo que se puede hacer con mas ritmo...no sé. Eso sí, si se pretende trasmitir la sensación de tedio de la relación de la pareja, pues sí tendría que valorarla mas.

The great film I've seen about relationships in relation to approval.

nice comment on the cul-de-sac in the relationship, in which conformity and shame for your partner destroy all the leftovers of the couple parfait, but i also can't shake the feeling that something was missing, i totally adore birgit's pink shorts though

Relationships are hard and people are weird. And flighty gingers will throw themselves at things (people, windows, etc.) to be loved.
