This film portrays the horrific acts of a doctor trying to save his daughter and the daughter who would rather die than be saved by these terrible deeds but these ideas could have been distilled in a movie 30 minutes shorter. This film is well directed and written with few words spoken throughout, but many scenes are drawn out and take away from the suspense and interest of the movie. The main character, a well to do doctor, plays a very convincing role with an unmovable motive and a stolid character and the daughter as a very confused young woman trying to deal with a horrible situation. With these films flaws, it is still recommended for a viewing.
