Anna Marchant is on her way home from a night out with the girls when she stumbles upon a serial killer dubbed Tearjerk Jack murdering a young woman. Anna manages to avoid becoming his next victim but incurs a head injury during her escape that triggers a condition called ‘face blindness’, an impairment in perception that causes Anna to view someone’s face as if she’s never seen them before, including the people closest to her. With the killer still out there and his image jumbled among the many strangers in her head, Anna, with the help of cheeky Detective Kerrest, must try and catch Tearjerk Jack before he catches Anna. —DVDverdict.com
very good made thriller, with lots of scenes i really could feel how it would be - thanks to Milla's acting. very interesting, i also have this problem to recognize ppl - but luckily only people i don't see that often. the sex-scene, while they talked about in the club, was kind of weird, but also pretty funny.
While Jovovich tries to sell her one-dimensional character (and admittedly succeeds), nothing can stop this film from the major way it talks dumb to the viewer - and then tops it all off with an ending that only more so makes you feel like you're being talked dumb to.
