Shaken by the news that he will never be able to father a child, forty-year-old Bruno feels he has nothing left in his life except his beloved wife Anne. But he reveals nothing of this to her, nor that he is seriously in debt to a money-lender. Then a strange young man enter’s Bruno’s life – Luca, the son of the money-lender who has now disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Something seems to bond the two together. —BFI
