I guess its heart was in the right place but the story was weak and the characterization ran out of gas pretty quickly. The casting wasn't the greatest and they truly fucked up Dr. Doom. In the plus column the effects were decent and it beats the hell out of the second one.

In the second ever Fantastic Four movie, they don't fight evil until near the end. Fantastic Four? More like Blasphemic Bore.
