A rather unknown (or perhaps just unliked) film from the mid-90s with a cast of rising Hollywood types. Frankly, this film was pretty enjoyable despite some bad performances, slow pace, and awkward style. D'Onofrio plays the stubborn, slow-witted brother quite well - an oddball performance, but memorable. Akroyd was particularly awful with an unsuitable and inconsistent accent of some kind. Story was fun, at least.
30 or 40 years from now when Keanu Reeves dies, I predict that a clip from this film will be shown on the big screen in The Kodak Theatre, or wherever the Oscars is held when Keanu dies. There is a scene in the film where Keanu waves to his brother, Vincent D ́Onofrio, and God knows the academy loves to show clips of the dead actors waving 'bye in their in memoriam montages.
