It's been years since I watched this but the stories still come to my mind sometimes. I'm surprised it hasn't been brought back to TV in some form.

That's a good thing, by the way. "John from Cincinnati" was a hella good show. It was just way too oblique for most people (which is understandable, but lamentable).

I'd put First Person right up next to David Milch's John From Cincinnati as one of the most remarkably bizarre series of the last fifteen years.
