Flirting with Anthony

The director of Shiner tackles more controversial issues in this dark and extremely sexy thriller about a road trip where violence, comedy and romance lurk around every corner. Former criminal Anthony (openly gay singer Daniel Cartier) shares a predominately happy life with Donna, his girlfriend and her queer younger brother. When Donna’s father dies, she encourages Anthony to take a road trip to pay their respects. On their trip, the pair picks up multiple partners for sexy play, but also encounter a psychic (Mink Stole), a whacked-out motel lady, Jayleen (Judy Tenuta), and a stranded drag act (Los Angeles’ Boofont Sisters). As if things can’t get any stranger, Anthony’s past comes back to haunt him when Jack (Linus) – who saved him from a torturous gang retribution – appears to be stalking him across the country. Will romance finally catch up with Anthony or will the trip come to a bloody end? –TLA Releasing
