The Weasel Man, 88-90 AD

I saw the google video version. Hardly remember it because of the experience. Needs a release.
This is now my favourite Bresson film. Not only is the precision there, but it's also very funny and sexy, too. Every image is created with consummate care, every edit exact. The new 35mm print is something to behold, the couleurs are vivid, the film feels alive. Oh, and the hands. Gorgeous. <',))(
The movie achieves a sublime level of purity, it speaks to the strength of our soul, the resilience of those who find harmony within themselves while living a world of trouble and misery.
My favorite Bresson. I admire all Bresson's films for his cinematic expertise, but this one for a reason I don't understand right now hit me on a much personal level (possibly says more about me than the film).
For a so-called canon director it's shocking that so many of Bresson's films are unavailable. The downloaded version I saw was bordering on unwatchable. Real shame.

Bresson, the cold, ascetic master of esoteric transcendence delivers a moving, shockingly secular tale of unrequited love.
Oh Robert, you almost tricked me into thinking you were happy for once. Absolutely beautiful.
Where can you see this? You can actually see it on youtube; and it is well worth watching even in that diminished format.
Where can I see this? I read on Wikipedia that it is still unavailable on DVD and VHS.
Entrancing, a beautifully surreal film that feels nearly weightless. It almost makes you want to close your eyes, for the sake of drifting within it. One of Bresson's many masterpieces.
