outside of the so-so parts 3 & 4 from rodriguez and tarantino, the only explanation i can make for parts 1 & 2 was that someone felt bad for Allison Anders and Alexandre Rockwell and decided to let them show the world how terrible and boring they can make things. overall this just isn’t a movie anyone needs to see. even if you’re a fan of robert or quentin, it’s probably near lowest of the things they’ve done. Tim roth’s role is also one of the most annoying characters alive, i wanted to kill him with my own bare hands and i don’t think that’s the way it was intended to be.
