It was very cute movie with nice dance scenes & some wild dreams.
Unexpectedly bizarre and countless what-the-f*cks throughout the film. Japan is a whole other planet.

Very long, very absurd, very Japanese, and above all, very wonderful.
HOMEROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!! is so great. You can youtube some of them to get the feel of it. The film gets knocked down from four stars to three on account of length, but nonetheless very enjoyable.
The Japanese are interesting and wacky simply by being themselves; however, "Funky Forest" is the sound of everyone involved trying too hard to be wacky and hip. The Caribbean-Mandarin music and dancing on the beach near the midpoint of this pastiche of shorts is enjoyable (i.e. following the scene in the still). The rest is a snoozefest.

This is one crazy movie.
But very enjoyable. And addictive.
