Synopsis
Picking up just after a destructive invasion by oversized insects, giant turtle and protector of humankind Gamera must now fight off an adversary from long ago — the Gyaos. The man-eating birds are back to exact retribution on their enemies. Strong newcomer Iris leads the way, and having accidentally killed Iris’s parents, Gamera is in deadly territory as he faces his toughest, most gigantic rival yet.

An underwhelming finish to the Gamera trilogy, with the big turtle himself getting very little screentime. This film attempts to be a darker, bloodier brand of kaiju film but the subtitles on Mill Creek Entertainment's blu-ray release are flawed. Entire sentences are sometimes skipped over, rendering the movie's already abstract plot inpenetrable. For my money, the first entry in this series is still the best.
