Gamera the Brave

The latest installment in the series of Japanese sci-fi actioners starring giant flying turtles, this tale begins as young Toru finds a baby turtle, which he names Toto and brings home. But it slowly becomes clear his new pet is no ordinary reptile. Toto grows rapidly and disappears, and while Toru mourns his loss, a giant monster starts attacking people. Soon, Toto — now a huge, tusked flying beast — reappears and battles the creature.
