Favorite scenes were with the little kid that Monroe expected to be a rich play boy traveling on the ship to Europe. Coburn wasn’t as good as in the screwball comedy The More the Merrier, the only other film I’ve seen him in so far. Marilyn Monroe has a lot more talent than some people want to admit. She had to in order to create such an indelible persona and memorable characters. She can sing, seduce, and is funny. Generally I would prefer the brunette, but compared to Monroe, Jane Russell doesn’t stand out as very attractive or as a very good singer or dancer.
