Ghosts of the Heartland

At the height of the Red Scare, Chinese American reporter Roland Lu (Phil Moon) returns to his hometown to find a community teeming with paranoia and anti-Chinese prejudice. But more troubling is the fact that the mayor (Michael Santoro) seems to be inciting the panic. Can Roland prove that the townspeople are conspiring to seize property from their Chinese neighbors? Writer-director Allen Blumberg helms this stylish black-and-white drama.
