God Created Everything but a Carpet

Li-Fraumeni Syndrome (LFS) is an extremely rare genetic disorder which greatly increases susceptibility to cancer of various localizations. This hereditary gene mutation is found only in one or two people in a million… However, the mutation can be passed from parent to child, and this random, uncontrollable process results in constant balancing on a blade of a knife, or more precisely, a scalpel. This fatal circumstance marks everyday life of two young charismatic film heroines, Aida and Roberta. Behind their simple words and ordinary activities throughout ascetic frames of film “God created everything but a carpet” hides the real struggle with challenging fate. —17th Vilnius International Film Festival
