God Has a Rap Sheet

Director Kamal Ahmed’s debut dares to address themes that most newbies would stay away from, such as God, race and social justice. Ahmed’s film explores what happens when eight men from very different walks of life are locked together in a holding cell for one night. Forced to interact, they discover that they have much more in common that they’d realized — the least of which is a penchant for committing small crimes.
