Synopsis

Fifteen years after the vicious slaughter of her parents at the hands of an Amazonian tribe, the surviving — and barely clothed — Liana sets out to find the golden fortress of legend and avenge the death of her family. But the leaders of the savages, the sinister and sadistic duo Uruck and Rena, will protect the temple from intruders at all costs. Director Jesus Franco’s cult adventure features plenty of erotic thrills and sadistic violence.

After the Spanish Civil War, he was able to continue his studies at the Real Conservatorio de Madrid, where he finished piano and harmony. Back to Spain, he started his huge cinematographic work as a composer, with Cómicos (1954) and El hombre que viajaba despacito (1957), and later worked as an assistant director to Juan Antonio Bardem, León Klimovsky, Luis Saslavsky, Julio Bracho, Fernando Soler and Joaquín Luis Romero Marchent… read more
