the story had potential to be great, but i just didn’t really believe vang’s and her’s performances. it kinda felt like ABC family acting or something of the sort. we had a few visits from mr. plot contrivance man also. i felt that the change from a racist war veteran to the kind of man who attends korean family gatherings and doesn’t care if there’s a stealing korean kid in his house was way too sudden. and not to say that clint eastwood isn’t a total badass, because he is. i just didn’t dig the “christian bale in batman” voice and the CONSTANT racial slurs. it seemed a bit overdone.
