The action takes place over the period of one day and recounts the series of events which lead to a meeting between a young man and woman. The combined effects of a full moon, hypothermia, a block of chocolate, a malfunctioning electric coffee machine, a coward’s lie, pigeon droppings smearing a photo, the planet Venus, a child’s nightmare, a white stone, treasure found in a milk bottle, a squashed cockroach, and a yellow jacket dumped in the street are necessary for their love affair to bloom. Isn’t it said that a butterfly beating its wings in the Atlantic can cause a tornado in the Pacific? By pure accident, the paths of the young man and woman will cross, and their lives, perhaps, be overturned. –uniFrance
