Hero's Island

In 1719, the Mainwaring family inherits an island off the Carolina coast and establishes a homestead there. Thomas (Brendan Dillon) and his wife, Devon (Kate Manx), may own the land, but a brutish fisherman named Gates (Rip Torn) and his crew don’t intend to leave. The escalating feud results in bloodshed, but the tides turn when a mysterious man (James Mason) washes ashore and takes the family’s side in this period drama.
