A Dante Lam movie before he became Dante 'the fucking MAN' Lam. So a completely serviceable action thriller about some good cops who go over to the wrong side of the law in order to help a friend and Daniel Wu as the surprisingly macho SWAT team leader who has to take them down. The best bits are blatantly derivative of "Heat" and "Hard Boiled" but, you know what, just chill out and enjoy the slow mo shotgun blasts.
