It was- What was I saying? Oh yeah, right. I was writing- What? Stop it! I’m writing a review for Homicide and and- I remember that the dialogue was- clipped? Yeah, clipped and that was annoying. I said IT WAS ANNOYING, ok? Good, but affected, and the plot— of what? The movie, the plot of the movie was convoluted. Convoluted— mixed up, you know? And it didn’t all hang together. There was a needless conspiracy within a conspiracy and intersecting crimes, which though cool, didn’t quite hang together. The main character, the guy, Joe Mantegna— his transformation of- of his identity was brilliant. It is an excellent character study housed in a too clever plot, like an- an enigma, wrapped in uh a puzzle. Get it?! Didja, yeah? Hope so, ‘cause I’m not gonna repeat myself.
