Decent B horror movie that has it where it counts. Some if the imagery was frightening but the plot twist at the end was fairly obvious. Entertaining nonetheless.
Cheesy low budget horror movie with a few classic moments and some great screaming!
I like near the end of the film where none of the other guests hears Nora running through house screaming her friggin' head off. Really you heard the organ but not chick wailing on her lung pipes
Roger Corman understood that Price needed to be surrounded by real personalities. Price surrounded by cardboard cutouts, as here, just isn't as effective.
Cheesy, dated and predictable. Good for a drunken night of Halloween movies.
not terribly scary but still suspenseful/twisty enough to be very enjoyable and creepy. sort of reminded me a bit of "Diabolique". Price is brilliant here.
One of vincent's best! I love this movie.
Good B horror movie. One might only regret the little touch of madness that would have turned HOUSE OF HAUNTED HILL into a real cult classic like Jack Hill's SPIDER BABY for instance. Everything is too predictable here like in the ghost train of a fair. Recommended, though.
did they lack patience or inspiration to track the deaths down to the last ? :/
saw it at the film forum, in EMERGO. fantastic
Just showing some love for this classic.
Glad to see this movie here
