This was an affecting film watching experience for me.

Sure the performances are good (Notably a great performance from the young Roddy McDowall) and the photography is beautiful thanks to Ford and Arthur Miller, but this is such a wonderful story that is told. You feel for some of the characters and others you despise. Either way the film is making you feel.

This film is pretty much faultless in my eyes. It was a pleasure to view such a great film as this.
