"Hugo the Hippo" contains some of the most interestingly designed sequences I've seen in an animated feature. However despite it running at 86 minutes and it drags in the second act after a pretty good start. It essentially becomes one of those environmental films where the all-perfect children know what's right and the brute-first adults are the doo-doo heads. Looked great in 35mm (despite a pink-red tint).
