thx dear!
currently free to watch (i don't know how long for!) along with Nicolás Pereda's 'All things were now overtaken by silence' at docalliance: http://dafilms.com/event/52/
It's like if you took a ride in his truck, and we were left with a beautiful final image by the poetic and strong place in the trajectory (which we will never know the end) Jose Renato: this want to play, aimlessly, free. But still be sure that if they have other more and more chances to do it. A beautiful film, amazing. Recommend. www.cinemadebuteco.com
Strangely hypnotic film about a geologist whose surveying trip for a new canal is as much about business as it is an escape from a recent, painful breakup. Along the way he meets impoverished villagers his canal will displace, and begins to identify with their loneliness as he journeys towards healing. A brief and lovely poem of beginnings and endings, and the act of moving on.
I loved that film!!! It's one of the great perversions of the festival circuit! It won't make money, it won't be distributed, but it's just brilliant!!!
