hahaha
Charming, wacky, light hearted, its very difficult not to enjoy on some level. Didn't love it as much as some of Chan-Wook's other stuff but the extremely impressive cinematography shows what an amazing visual style he has.
Quirky and light-hearted. The character developments are excellent and engaging. With its bizarreness, the viewers get to feel for the peculiar characters. The visual is quite an artistry too, bold and colorful. At the end of the film, I wasn't blown away but however I was moved. Good enough.
i can honestly say that this is the most interesting RomCom i've ever seen. Not one of Park's best works but i love his direction and cinematography and the story is unique, to say the least.
Really interesting. Reminds me of Memories of Matsuko in the way it's very happyhappy to the point of irony even though the subject matter is quite dark.
C'est un peu plus legère que les autres, mais j'ai été surprise pour la tendresse que ca m'a fait sentir.
This is the first Korean film I ever saw, and the results were so beautiful and intriguing that I was permanently hooked. I must say that I thought Rain did a much better job in this film than in Ninja Assassin, but perhaps that is due to there being more space in this film to act in terms of a more complex character.
'I'm a Cyborg' is one of the most intruguing and vicseral films about mental illness I've ever seen. The characters are engaging and despite the quirky flights of fancy you really care about Young-goon and her predicament.
It was so fascinating and spontaneous . Wonderful in every sense. I think I should watch it again for another visual delight!
Despues de su "Trilogia de la venganza", una inesperada respuesta de Park Chan-wook al cine de Tim Burton, y otra eficaz muestra del profesionalismo del cine coreano.
This is such a refreshing film! So full of new ideas and accomplished performances. It brings a whole new perspective to the somewhat lately mistreated "romantic comedy" genre. Though it can get a bit too quirky at times the plot keeps you glued to the screen and the innocence of the performances makes them absolutely believable. A true little jem, and only comparable to Amelie.
Bizarre romantic comedy from director Chan-wook Park is one of the most imaginative and original of its kind, with great quirky performances and special effects. The cloying strangeness does get tiresome after a while, but Park's extraordinary visual sense keeps it continually surprising. Great Elfman-esque score by Yeong-wook Jo.
