For Bilder från lekstugan, Stig Björkman was commissioned by the Stiftelsen Ingmar Bergman to compile film material that Bergman shot with a 9.5 mm camera and later with a 16 mm Bell & Howell. Between 1953 and 1965 he recorded private and professional moments, including shots during the filming of many of his films of that period, from En lektion i kärlek to Persona. Off commentaries by Bergman as well as actresses Harriet Andersson and Bibi Andersson supplement the film material. –Berlinale
