First off, if you loved this, make sure you check out “Six Shooter”; McDonagh’s first and Oscar winning short film. Darkly hilarious.

At first I found it a bit talky for the kind of film it was but I got over that. I love it. It’s a complete delight and makes a great case for why we want Colin Farrell around for while. Brendan Gleeson is great as usual but probably the greatest treat is Ralph Fiennes who steals every scene that he is in. I wish I could quote the immortal exchange between him and Gleeson but I’ll leave that for your viewing pleasure.
