I feel like this brings the great elements of the other two movies and combines them with a unique style of its own. In many ways it has the most sacred and important artifacts of all, the holy grail. What really sets this movie apart from the other two though is not the main plot, but the father/son story. Harrison Ford and Sean Connery have some of the best on screen chemistry of all time and seem to constantly enhance the love I have for the movie itself. However, the main plot is a great one, involving some great villains and by far the best action sequences of the entire series. I love the pre-WWII setting and use of the Nazi-party. The prequel segment in the beginning is also one of the things that gives it so much power and greatness. You get to see a young Indiana that is on the verge of becoming who he is and still having all the charisma, River Phoenix completely embodies the presence of Harrison Ford like no other. I think everyone working on the film stepped up their game and really tried to bring something worthy of the name Indiana Jones.
