i have an enormous respect for werner herzog and what hes trying to do all the time.
i found this film to be quite good at the beginning with the police video, and departing from the priest saying that everyone should be forgiven etc, that was brilliant, as the movie went in i started noticing how herzog lets a lot of space between interviews it almost seems lazy but it is good because of the few questions he asks he delivers very very good questions even a little intrusive. by the end of the film i thought he was talking about something very serious but repetitive through all america, and he was sort of not mocking it ,but putting on the spot in a very cynical way.
if my perception is correct then i think its incredibly good and kind of trashy i would love to be correct. but if its a very serious documentary and herzog really cared about this particular story then i think its kind of bleh and not very good for herzog.
