it's either unbearably pretentious or very earnest. I really liked it

First I thought that this is another movie that romantizes this wandering character - I was thinking of Jack Kerouac, but then he started to grow on me. Finally I fell in love with the character. He was idealistic and stupid, but that's what makes it interesting and heartfelt. The pacing and the structure work really well and they've given all the characters just enough time to show the mutual impact and the stakes.

How can a millionaire directs a film about someone who lived with no money at all? McCandles deserved a much greater one

The near-perfection of this film is rounded out by Vedder's impeccable soundtrack.

The first time I saw this film I was captivated by it's allure and mystery mainly because of it's Walden-esque charm, but after approaching the movie from a more "down-to-earth" perspective I found that I genuinely liked it.

Surprisingly much more optimistic than the book, although that may be of little merit to the true nature of the story. Nevertheless I appreciated that life-affirming twist! Great scenery

I would hate this if it wasn't so chock-full with good performances (of which Holbrook and Keener blatantly give the best).

It's kind of weird that Alexander McCandless breaks the fourth wall. Nevertheless, Sean Penn did a good job, especially Supertramp's dying scene, very haunting.

Mesmerizing, haunting, moving, and affecting beyond words; this movie is beautiful and tragic in so many ways. No other movie since I can remember has enlivened me and invigorated me the way Into the Wild has.

"hayat nedir?

| One of the best movies that can be seen. It goes beyond being a movie, it's literally a life that interferes in the life of those who lets it happen.
