Valérie Mréjen

Valérie Mréjen was born in 1969 in Paris. Graduated from an art school, she became interested in the various means of expressions to better explore the possibilities of language. She began editing art books in small runs before shooting her first videos. Her work has been exhibited widely in France and abroad, including the Jeu de Paume in 2008. She has directed several short films, two documentaries (Pork and Milk, 2004, Valvert, 2008) and a feature film, En ville_, in 2010. She has also published three stories (_Mon grand-père, 1999, L’Agrume, 2001, Eau sauvage, 2004) Editions Allia.—
