Iska's Journey

In a daily game of survival, a young girl named Iska (Mária Varga) scrapes by, foraging for scrap metal to pay for her parents’ alcohol addiction. But when she decides to leave her bleak life behind, Iska’s journey truly begins. With the help of a new friend (Marian Rusache) she meets in an orphanage, Iska sets off to discover the sea. Her dream is cut short, though, when she falls into the hands of human traffickers.
