Tim Curry as Pennywise is the best thing about that miniseries, downright evil
Very creepy miniseries. The first part is without a doubt the best of the two. By the end, it becomes a bit winded and a little hard to believe, like many King novels, but still, there's a lot to enjoy about it.
I don't remember the ending of this film, but it did scare me when I was little. Would like to watch this again but can't find this film in dvd or on TV.
Saw this as a kid (except I never made it to the silly ending) and was absolutely terrified. About a week later, I learned about John Wayne Gacy. Needless, to say, I haven't quite gotten over it all.
One of the weakest and most overrated king adaptations, or even horror movies of all time. The books is epic, and breath taking. The movie is a reflection of the book on a dirt mirror, all the things that made it special are smudged leaving in boring drivel. For children and the easily amused.
