It's in the Bag

Comedy legend Fred Allen stars as flea circus owner Fred Floogle, who auctions off what he believes to be 5 ordinary chairs inherited from an uncle. Only after the sale does he learn that one chair was stuffed with $300,000 in cash. His quest to retrieve the loot leads to slapstick encounters with Jack Benny, Robert Benchley, Jerry Colonna and other comedy greats. The film is based on the same novel that inspired Mel Brooks’ 1971 film.
