An erotic thriller that's never sexy or thrilling. The performances are uneven - David Caruso is stiff, Chazz Palminteri and Linda Fiorentino do what they can with the dopey dialogue. A predictably sleazy and cliche-ridden script by Joe Eszterhas fails to generate any suspense or drama. Just a bland, instantly forgettable effort not even worth watching for camp value.
