When a journalist is assigned to interview drag queens working in a Moscow nightclub, he uncovers an unlikely story about five men whose lives could hardly be more different — save for their passion for dressing in women’s clothes. Unveiling their stories to the reporter, each man — including an old-school queen who seduced a Communist official — gives him a glimpse of Russia’s brave new world.
