Belgian director Marc-Henri Wajnberg helms this music-laden period drama, set in Antwerp in the twilight of the 1950s. With his heart set on crossing the Atlantic to play with America’s jazz greats, a talented young saxophonist (Josse De Pauw) has to settle for shows at local tearooms. Meanwhile, his friendship with an avant-garde sculptor (Charles Berling) gets complicated when a woman (Ann-Gisel Glass) enters the picture.
