Born in Novara, Antonio Rezza is one of the most acclaimed italian perfomers. His underground works have reached a cult status and won severe prizes among many independent movie festivals. He collaborates with Flavia Mastrella, which worked with him on all his shorts and full length movies, both on the direction and on the screenplay. His main activity is theatre, with award winning plays such as “Pitecus”, “Io”, “Fotofinish”, “Bahamut” and “7-14-21-28”, but he’s also very active with cinema as well: he directed a huge quantity of short films and two full length features. He has also collaborated with italian television, with programs like “Avanzi”, “Pippo Chennedy Show” and “Fuori Orario” and created the show Troppolitani, aired on RAI3. He’s also a writer and has published four novels so far.
Sculptress, painter, director and lifetime collaborator of Antonio Rezza, Flavia Mastrella is one of the most interesting figures in contemporary art. Other than her works with Rezza, she often organizes and promote her own art exhibitions, which go from sculpture to painting to photography.
