Small-town Argentinean priest Padre Mario Pantaleo (Jorge Marrale) uses his newfound healing powers to help his congregation — much to the chagrin of local church officials, who promptly banish him from the community. With the help of parishioner Perla (Graciela Borges), Padre Mario starts a new church in a tiny rural town, where his healing efforts attract the attention of the Vatican in this poignant religious drama.
