LBJ: The Early Years

Starting as a congressional aide, Lyndon Johnson (Randy Quaid) hones his reputation as a shrewd political force over a career that takes him to the Senate, the vice presidency and, ultimately, the presidency. At this side through it all is the doggedly faithful Lady Bird (scene stealer Patti LuPone). Quaid scored a Golden Globe for his spirited, complex and thrillingly entertaining portrayal. Charles Frank co-stars as President John F. Kennedy.
