A young man drives a truck loaded with dates from southern Morocco into Tangiers. The film defies classification because it starts in the neo-realist tradition, and thenveers towards tragi- comedy and switches to a fantasy world where Tangiers is not only a physical city, but also a metaphysical space. —Africulture (loose translation)
Mohamed Abderrahman Tazi was born in Fez in Morocco in 1942. A graduate of IDHEC in Paris in 1963, he followed this in 1974-1975 and studied Communication at Syracuse University in the United States.
