Mohamed Abderrahman Tazi

Mohamed Abderrahman Tazi was born in Fez in Morocco in 1942. A graduate of IDHEC in Paris in 1963, he followed this in 1974-1975 and studied Communication at Syracuse University in the United States. In 1979, he founded the production company “Arts and Audio-Visual Techniques.” Producer and director of cultural programs for RTM – Television Moroccan and Spanish television. He was also technical adviser or representative of production on some films of Robert Wise, John Huston , Francis F. … Coppola filmed in Morocco. His first feature film in 1981,was “Le Grand Voyage” which was followed by “Badis” in 1989, “In Search of My Husband’s Wife” in 1994 and “Lalla Hobby” in 1997. From 2000 to 2003 he was director of productions at the Moroccan TV channel 2M. —Africulture
