Synopsis
Taking the top prize at the 2007 Pusan International Film Festival, the Chinese-Korean co-production Life Track uses minimalist filmmaking to maximum effect. This quiet, emotionally piercing debut feature from Korean-Chinese writer-director Jin Guang-hao, or Kim Kwang-ho, follows the unlikely friendship that develops between two disabled people in the remote countryside. An armless man living alone in the country takes in a deaf-mute girl on the run from the police.
