This movie threw me off at first. I wasn’t sure what to think when the comedy aspect kept creeping in. But after the movie was over and I thought about it, I think it works on the level of SATIRE.

My only issue is some of the editing feels like it’s from the pop-side of the 60’s (which annoys me personally, others might not see it or care). Unless one does it as good as Rus Meyers, one should not try the ‘Laugh In’ style of editing.

Maybe the editing was just misplaced because this wasn’t a CRAZY comedy, and that editing calls for a CRAZY comedy.

Who knows.

Other than that, this movie was out of this world fun, and it flew by in no time, and it made some of the best statements on American’s conquest of the Indians.
