Synopsis

When a diamond is stolen at a wedding party, the prime suspect and his fiancée slip away to get married. But high jinks ensue when a clumsy detective and other colorful characters follow the couple to a resort hotel, and the chase for the gem is on. Frank R. Strayer directs this entertaining comic caper starring Harrison Ford (the silent film-era star), Alberta Vaughn, Tyrell Davis and Fred Kelsey.

Frank R. Strayer

Frank R. Strayer (September 21, 1891 – February 3, 1964) was an actor, film writer, director and producer. He was active from the mid-1920s until the early 1950s.

Strayer attended Carnegie Tech and then the Pennsylvania Military Academy. After graduation, he served in the Navy during World War I. After the War, he found work at Metro Studios, which would later become known as MGM. While there, he worked as an assistant director and also acted in a few films. During the 1920s, he moved on to Columbia Pictures. While there, he became a successful writer, director and producer.
