Love Potion No. 9

A gypsy woman (Anne Bancroft) gives nerdy biochemist Paul (Tate Donovan) a love-inducing elixir to improve his luck with women. To evaluate the potion’s effects, he enlists the help of fellow geeky scientist Diane (Sandra Bullock). The two test it on themselves and, naturally, they fall in love. But when Diane’s ex-boyfriend uses the potion to win her back, Paul’s only hope is to invent an even more potent concoction.
