Stiff, overly reverential biography of Brazil's popular president, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. Detailing his childhood and journey to becoming an influential union leader, LULA, THE SON OF BRAZIL does little to illuminate who the man is, and instead plays out like a scrubbed and polished campaign video, with little context or historical importance.
